The Social Program of IMT12 includes the following events:

Sunday May 29th, 18:00-20:00: Welcome Snacks 

Everyone is invited at Hotel T3 Tirol (Calle Marqués de Urquijo, 4) for a welcome reception the day before scientific sessions start.

Wednesday June 1st, 17:30-19:30: Guided Tour to Prado Museum

Registered participants will enjoy a 2 hour guided tour of the famous 'National Prado Museum' that now houses the painting collection of the Spanish Kings. It is the most-visited tourist attraction in the city of Madrid. There will be a bus departing the conference venue at 16:30. Alternatively, meeting point is at the Goya statue in the gardens north of the museum building, at 17:15.

Wednesday June 1st, 20:30: Gala Dinner

Registered participants will enjoy the conference Gala Dinner at the resturant 'Posada de la Villa', a traditional place located at Calle Cava Baja 9, right at the center of the 'Habsburg Madrid'.  In addition to some entrees, the main dish will be the famous Roast Lamb Castilian Style, cooked in a wood oven. Anyone wishing a different meal (fish) please contact the organization in advance.

Thursday June 2nd, 18:00: Snacks during Poster Session

At the conference venue, a professional ham cutter will join us to taste a delicious 'pata negra' from an authentic iberian pork (porco preto). Traditional Spanish snacks  (potato omelet, sheep cheese, cured olives, ...) as well as drinks will also be served. Everyone is invited.

Accompanying persons

Accompanying persons can get tickets to join us at the Guided Tour of the Prado Museum and the Gala Dinner at a price of 65 € for both. Please, ask for it at the Registration Desk in the Conference Venue. Extra tickets for the daily lunches at the University Cafeteria can also be purchased at a rate of 6 € each.
