Symplectic and Algebraic Geometry of real and p-adic systems

This conference explores the interaction between several important problems concerning integrable systems, dynamical systems, groups actions, and momentum maps, from the point of view of symplectic and algebraic geometry, both in the case of real and p-adic coefficients.

It consists of two minicourses, central to the goals of the BBVA Foundation Project, and a number of plenary lectures at the forefront of research, all of which will be delivered by prominent researchers. The 2024 lecture "Toric and semitoric symplectic geometry: progress and challenges" by Álvaro Pelayo describes recent advances in the BBVA project.
