In this webinar series world-class guest lectures will present the challenges and opportunities in the main research and development areas in chemical engineering.

Chemical engineering is both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, a vibrant knowledge area that creatively shapes engineering science and design through interfaces with chemistry, biology, and materials science; and contributes to solving the technological needs of the global economy and human society.

In this webinar series we will have invited lectures who have contributed in an extraordinary way to the generation of new knowledge and very significantly to the technological development of the different areas of Chemical Engineering.

To highlight the cutting edge of these developments and the most immediate technical and societal changes, in this 2021 edition we have as guest speakers Prof. Dionysios Dionysiou, Jerry King and Ignacio Grossmann, they will share their knowledge in three important research areas: environment, biotechnology and process systems engineering.
